Nokia E72 Mail For Exchange for gmail

Issue: Not able to send mails using Nokia mail for Exchange when configured for gmail.

How to Configure
================
1)Goto Menu -> Email -> New Mailbox -> Start configuration -> select mail for exchange -> Select which all syncing options needed(like calender, todo or contacts).
Use the configurations below
mail: @gmail.com
eg: abc@gmail.com

password :

username: @gmail.com
eg: abc@gmail.com

Domain: Leave it blank

Mail for exchange server: m.google.com

    I am able to receive mails from GMail using mail for exchange. But not able to send. Getting error "Unable To Complete command" when I try to create email.

    This issue is because there are no send folders or drafts or outbox shown in mail for exchange.

    Just after mail for exchange is configured for GMail, I am able to see Drafts, Send items, etc in the mail directory. But after the first synchronization with google server those directories disappear. I dont know exactly what is happening.

    As there are no drafts / send items / outbox the mail for exchange application is not able to create mails, that is the reason why it is displaying error "Unable to complete the command"..... Still needs to dig into the root cause of the issue for a solution.....

    Finally I have configured Gmail for Nokia E72 over nokia messaging.

    The issue lies in IMAP of your gmail account. change it to POP

    Steps
    =====
    1) Enable POP from Gmail settings
    2) Goto Nokia Messaging http://www.nokia.co.in/support/product_support/messaging/messaging-email
    3) Login to the account with user name and password (click login under "Manage your account")
    4) Click Edit settings for the gmail account that u need to configure for mobile messaging
    5) Click change server settings
    6) Select POP instead of IMAP
    a) Incoming mail server = pop.gmail.com
    b) Incoming server port = 995
    c) Select SSL required for incoming mail server
    d) Outgoing mail server = smtp.gmail.com
    e) port = 465
    f) check SSL required for outgoing mail server

    7) click save
    8) Delete existing Gmail boxes which are not working from your mobile
    9) Goto to Email Guide in E72
    9) Proceed with YES for activating Nokia Messaging Service
    10) Goto setup
    11) Give your username and password when requested and complete the configuration

    WOW gmail is working over Nokia messaging

    For Gmail, Apple creates a label called Notes and saves the notes created in the Gmail section to your Gmail account. gmailsignin.tips/create-gmail-account
